Annual UADOM-2018 Domain Industry Conference

On December 7, 2018, with the participation of Law Firm Gorodissky & Partners, an annual UADOM-2018 Domain Industry Conference was held, during which, in particular, the effectiveness of UDRP procedures was discussed with regard to resolution of domain disputes in comparison with judicial protection.

It can be expected that in the first half of 2019, with the participation of the World Intellectual Property Organization, the UDRP procedure will apply to disputes regarding the second level domain names .UA. The issue related to applying this procedure to third-level domain names will be addressed separately.

On behalf of Gorodissky & Partners (Kyiv) senior lawyer Stanislav Yeromin took part in the event.
